Planting trees today for a greener tomorrow

Anavi is an India-based community network founded and operated by Anglo-Eastern seafarer spouses and volunteers, with support from the group. Anavi assists schools, orphanages and homes for the elderly, and coordinates local food donations, blood drives, disaster relief efforts, and now also tree plantings.

The Maritime Just Transition Task Force has put forth a ten-point action plan recommending the need to strengthen global training standards, establish advisory national maritime skills councils, and ensure a safety-first approach for a “just transition” to net zero.
